Job Description
● Support and develop production platform solutions
● Recommend changes to, and improve the live infrastructure and working practices
● Implement a continuous integration process along with the development team
● Create and maintain documentation
● Diagnose and fix infrastructure outages
● Work with the development team to improve DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
● Report to the head of technology
We are looking for:
Required Skills:
● Degree/High Level Qualification in Computer Science/IT related discipline or equivalent industry experience
● Strong Linux systems administration experience including firewall and hardening (Ubuntu preferred)
● Network design and administration and problem-solving
● Web server config (Apache preferred)
● Postgres and MySQL configuration, single and high availability, management and backup
● Ability to progress projects from concept to delivery
● Config management via IT automation tools e.g Puppet, Ansible etc.
● Shell scripting
● Management of cloud providers (DigitalOcean preferred)
● DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
● Self-motivated and organised

Nice to have:
● Azure / PowerBi
● Monit/Zabbix monitoring
● Knowledge of ISO 27001 / Cyber Essentials or other security framework
